Plum Perfect Friday - Bathroom Beauties!

A garage sale table makeover!

Found the knobs, once again, at Hobby Lobby, aren't they spectacular! Love this piece so much more in a distressed fashion.

Remember, it's always a work in progress, so it will most likely look different when I get the whole thing completed, but it's just fun to change it up on a regular basis. I'm constantly going " accessory shopping" in my own home to change the look in a particular area or room...it gives me pleasure, and makes life interesting.

In another area, I added a shelf that I refinished. I found the cute little silver frame at a swap meet for a quarter! Woo hoo! I already had the other frame, but it was just a plain off-white so I used a background stamp to add the lace motif, and added the picture of the Eiffel Tower.

Why don't you post some of your achievements from the week...would love to see them!

Have a Plum Perfect Friday!

Cheers,

Rusty Rave Monday

Well, I had another very successful weekend and found several really great items. Here's the highlights:

A little inexpensive table for my bathroom make-over! I had pictured something like this in my mind and couldn't believe that I happened upon almost exactly what I was looking for!

I paid more than I normally would have, ($10) but when I saw it, I just snatched it up so that no one else would! Just after I purchased it, and was walking away, I think that I overheard a lady who was disappointed by the missed opportunity. Good find!!!!! (Check back on Friday to see how I improved it!)

I absolutely love this little jewel, I found it at a swap meet for 25 cents!

More little plates to add to my collection! I got (2) for 25 cents each.

It is German Schonwald China, and the company has been around for 125 years. Don't know how old these pieces are, but I wouldn't doubt that they are antiques. In any case, I adore them either way!

I spotted this charming wall cabinet at my last stop of the day. It was in the box, unassembled, and obviously never been used. It was marked at $10 so I took a chance and asked if they would take $5 for it, and it was a steal...I mean, deal! I'll probably stress it up a bit and hang it in my guest bathroom. Cute, cute, cute!

I had fun assembling it, and as luck would have it, all the parts were there!

Until next time, have a marvelous Monday!

Now it's your turn, I would love to see some of your great finds for the week.
