I admit that's a mouthful...but, I am so fond of using , alliteration! Humor me...
In any event, today I wanted to exhibit an idea that I came up with for my "Frenchy" bathroom makeover, in order to fill another need that I had.
You know all those cute Christmas tins that we all collect from year to year...
...the thought occurred to me to revamp them with a little paint and, the ever charming, "Graphics Fairy" vintage "frenchy" images (once again), in order to use them as containers for make-up and accessories. This way I can keep the countertop un-cluttered, have easy access to these items, and at the same time achieve an attractive look.

I'm lovin' it!
I whipped up the larger one today and plan on distressing it a bit, but have to wait for the paint to cure for a couple of days...
I like to live by the motto: "Fix it up, Wear it out, Make it do, or Do without!" I totally get a thrill from being thrifty AND creative! As Cecil B. DeMille so aptly stated, “Creativity is a drug I cannot live without” and that is exactly how I feel!

Your turn...post your creative "drug" and show off the cure for what ails you!

Very cute ideas Maggie, reminds me of me! ha I am loving it. I almost have my craft studio completely redone, but not quite. I will be posting a new post soon about it, but the past 5 days I have been designing for storytellers. hitting the wall with it. Love those TINS!
Great idea! I'm going to start looking at those cans you see in the thrifts with a different eye now!
hugs

Very good and creative idea! Sadly, I think I have thrown most of those tin cans away. I won't anymore though. Cute!
